Inductive sensing is a versatile technique for a wide range of measurements. In connection with supplementary devices, it enables measurement of various mechanical and physical parameters that can be transformed into linear displacement e.g. oscillations, elastic deformations, fluid, gas and differential pressure, bending and torsion momentum, acceleration, rotation, angular motions, thermal expansion, thickness etc.

Messotron measuring systems are employed in various applications:

  • as pressure-resistant version to determine the plunger position in hydraulic cylinders
  • as compact version in hydraulic valves for float position detection
  • in factory automation e.g. for press displacements
  • as rugged version to control sheet steel thickness in steel mills
  • in testing systems to measure e.g. the oscillations of vibrations testers
  • in systems for high-dynamic materials testing or similar applications
  • in systems for research and development
  • in lifts to sense position
