Applications
Hydraulics valve construction
LVDT sensors and measurement technology from MESSOTRON are used to measure variables such as position, movement, distance, vibration, strain, inclination and displacement. Applications in the field of valve construction are, for example:
Position sensors for control valves
- Pressure-resistant LVDT sensors up to 600bar for hydr. control valves / directional control valves / servo valves
- Compact design with and without integrated electronics with 0...10V / 4...20mA output
- Special designs for confined spaces and special operating environments
- Temperature range up to 80°C, and optionally 120°C or 180°C
Valve position transducers for safety valves
- Pressure-resistant and pressureless inductive LVDT sensors, inductive Proximity sensors as well as Rotary encoders for any kind of position measurement on safety and control valves
- Inductive limit switches for pure open/close measurement, as well as proximity sensors for continuous measurement in confined spaces or for retrofitting
- Special designs according to customer specifications for special operating conditions
- Designs with and without integrated electronics 0...10V / 4...20mA
Position transducers for control valves
- Pressure-resistant and pressureless inductive LVDT sensors, Proximity sensors as well as absolute and incremental Rotary encoders for any kind of position measurement on control valves
- Limit switches for open/close measurement, as well as eddy current sensors for continuous measurement and control of the valve position, also for retrofits
- Special designs for confined spaces and special operating conditions
- Designs with and without integrated electronics 0...10V / 4...20mA
Pressure-resistant Probe sensors for piston valves
- Inductive high-temperature valve piston displacement transducers based on fully symmetrical LVDT sensors for measuring the valve position under pressure by means of a sensing rod on the piston.
- Wide range of applications, especially on large valves in sectors such as hydroelectric power, water distribution, oil and gas, mining or control valves with large nominal diameters.
