From what quantities is a new development worthwhile?
As a medium-sized company, we often work in the range of 10 - 100 units per year. Even in this order of magnitude, a special solution can be worthwhile for reasons of exact fit and the associated savings on surrounding components or during assembly. For projects involving long-term supply contracts, we will assume part of the development costs for you, depending on the effort involved and the size of the project.
What can you expect?
We develop the appropriate measurement chain for you, consisting of sensors and, if necessary, measurement electronics. This means that we will accompany you from the requirements analysis to the design and prototype construction to the serial production of the product. After recording all requirements, you will receive proposals for discussion. Later, we create professional drawings and 3D-CAD data for exact integration into your assembly. After approval, we manufacture prototypes for you and carry out the necessary inspections and tests, which can also be implemented in accredited test laboratories if required.

After successful type testing, the product can be transferred to series production with cost-optimised manufacturing.
How long does a special development take?
The project duration of a development can range from a few weeks to a few months. We implement smaller to medium-sized development services extremely quickly in the range of 4-6 weeks. Larger projects, especially those that require extensive product tests and possibly approvals, usually take 3-6 months to implement. If you have an emergency, additional resources can be called in, which can shorten the project duration.

Often, things have to be done quickly at the end because important information was not available at the beginning or the framework conditions have changed.
