Vibrating switch VS

The VS series vibration switches allow limit monitoring of rms and peak values with selectable limit frequencies. The devices contain piezoelectric acceleration transducers, whereby high precision and resolution, as well as a wide frequency range are achieved.

A relay output is used to switch external loads. With the VS11 and VS12 units, monitoring in the frequency range is possible. For this purpose, the frequency spectrum of the acceleration is formed and compared with limit values in ten freely selectable frequency ranges.

The units can be parameterised via a USB connection. This makes it suitable for direct connection to computers for quick and easy vibration measurements. Typical applications are condition monitoring on motors, fan blowers, pumps, compressors according to DIN/ISO 10816 / 20816, quality control in production, emergency shutdown on production plants, vibration monitoring on rail vehicles, etc.
